Summary of Events

• Silent protests took place across Khartoum, as well as in Medani and AlManagil in Jezira State, as per the schedule of resistance activities set by resistance committees for this week. The protests were to denounce the continued arbitrary arrest and detention of citizens across the country, and to demand their release. A reminder that many remain imprisoned by #SudanCoup authorities without charge or due process; some have undergone torture while in detention.

• A protest also took place in Burri, Khartoum, which resulted in the neighborhood being teargassed by #SudanCoup forces.
