Day 125 of the Military Coup

Summary of Events

• The Sudan Doctors Committee reported the death of Muhtadi Haydar Osman, the 83rd victim whose life was taken by #SudanCoup forces. Osman was shot by authorities during the February 14 demonstrations, and passed away early this morning.

• Large protests took place in Khartoum, as well as Atbara, Medani and Sinja, denouncing #SudanCoup and military rule. The demonstrations were led by 'mothers and fathers' - elders showing support for their children and youth who have been at the forefront of the resistance since December 2018.

• According to the Sudan Doctors Committee, 34 people were injured during today's demonstrations in Khartoum, after #SudanCoup forces attacked protesters. 5 protesters were brutally assaulted with batons, one of whom sustained a fractured skull as a result.
