Summary of Events

  • Protests took place today across Khartoum, including a silent protest staged by staff of Khartoum ENT Hospital, which was attacked by #SudanCoup forces during February 28 demonstrations. Demonstrations were also held in Dongola and Gedarif.

  • The Coordinating Body of Khartoum State Resistance Committees has released the schedule of resistance activities for March:

    • 3/4: forums after Friday Prayer

    • 3/5: Flag Day - raising flags in homes, cars, etc.

    • 3/6: silent protests for political detainees

    • 3/7: promotional demos for Women's March

    • 3/8: Women's March

    • 3/9: public forums and distribution of leaflets

    • 3/10: one-day sit-ins
