Summary of Events

  • Sudan is gearing up for #Dec6March - the seventh nationwide mass demonstration since October 25, and the first of 5 planned for the month of December. The message is the same: down with #SudanCoup and military rule.

  • Resistance activities continued across the country, including neighborhood protests calling for participation in tomorrow's 'millions march'. In Khartoum, a silent protest was held in front of UNITAMS HQ denouncing foreign intervention in Sudanese matters. A similar silent protest took place outside the KSA and UAE embassies in Khartoum.

  • The Manwashi sit-in has entered its 4th day, with residents blocking off the Nyala-Elfashir road to protest the severe insecurity in the area.

  • Armed militia attacks continued today on the Kireinik area of West Darfur. A preliminary reports puts toll at 24 dead, and 35 injured. Kireinik IDP camp was reportedly completely burned down, and Kireinik town was heavily affected.
