The Sudan Doctors Committee reported 239 injured in yesterday’s demonstrations against #SudanCoup, including 7 gunshot casualties, 6 of whom are in unstable condition. In Medani, 1 teargas casualty remains in unstable condition.
The chair of the Saudi-Sudanese Business Council says due to the political crisis, some Gulf investors are considering leaving Sudan.
The US, UK, France, Norway, Ireland & Albania have requested a UN Security Council closed-door meeting to discuss situation in Sudan.
No time to rest for the Sudanese people as they continue to escalate resistance activities: several resistance committees have announced plans to demonstrate on January 9, 3 days ahead of the next preset demo date of January 12.
