Summary of Events
Sudan is gearing up for #Jan12March, the second official wave of nationwide mass demonstrations of January, and the 13th wave since the military took over on October 25.
A mothers' protest took place today in Khartoum, headed by mothers of those killed by #SudanCoup forces since October 25.
In Sinja, Sennar State, high school students came out in protest to honor the martyrs, in particular 16 year old Almasoum Hashim, who was shot by authorities on January 6.
In Aldabba Locality, farmers continue to block main highway into Egypt in protest against the new electricity tariff hike. According to Radio Dabanga, "farmers were planning an escalation in the coming days" closing localities in Merowe, Dongola, El Golid and El Borgeig.
